Four Seasons 2012-2013

This series explores the interaction between gesture and space.  Just as music shapes and is shaped by the space in which it is heard, the motion of a figure or the play of light creates and absorbs the character of the space it inhabits.  Each painting reflects a different type of acoustic energy resulting from the interplay of color, rhythm, and form.
