Four Seasons 2015-2016

The 2015-2016 Four Seasons painting series is about fragments. Different substances such as stone or ice each have characteristic patterns of fragmentation, and looking at the way they break can illuminate the ways in which they can come together to form larger structures. Similarly, musical motifs can be both fragments and DNA of their compositions, unique crystalline structures that echo and foreshadow the musical work as a whole.  ​
